This is a video of Adrian Bugg’s presentation on Enabling Data Capability at the inaugural Health Data Analytics Expo 2017 organised by the Australian Government Department of Health. Adrian talked about the intent of Health’s Enterprise Data Warehouse and current EDW2.0 upgrade project. He described an operating model for information technology, data, analytics and business processes. The model for government data and analytics supports the full data life cycle encompassing acquisition, organisation, analysis and sharing. This approach leverages existing and new technology for data and analytics to meet business needs and support research and analysis for policy and program management.
